    Sales / customer service office support executive

    An excellent opportunity is available to work within the busy sales / customer service office of a leading manufacturer of sports, gymnastics and PE equipment based in Huddersfield.

    Continental Sports Ltd is a family owned business, formed over fifty years ago and trading mainly in the UK.  Continental Sports has recently become the largest manufacturer and installer of equipment for trampoline parks - a fast growing sector in the UK and this role has arisen as a result of this success.

    The successful applicant will provide professional customer service to our clients and carry out the administrative support required within a busy sales office environment. Training and support will be provided by line management on our company products, systems and procedures.

    Main duties for the role are:

    • Communicate direct with customers by telephone or email, responding to their delivery enquiries and customer services issues
    • Proactively contact customers to discuss order related issues or clarifications
    • Investigate order progress with other internal personnel and departments prior to providing customer feedback
    • Maintain database records of customer service interactions
    • Completion of Non Conformity Report forms to comply with ISO-9001:2008 company standards
    • Follow up and manage customer interactions to completion
    • Set-up new and edit existing customer account details
    • Process customer orders received via email / website
    • Respond to pricing information for standard products
    • General administration support for a small team of sales personnel

    Skills and experience:

    • Good attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously and efficiently
    • Excellent computer data entry skills
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft office based programs
    • Methodical and highly organised administration experience
    • A professional communicator across all business levels
    • A flexible and adaptable approach to changing situations and workload
    • Previous experience working within in a small sales or customer services team environment would be beneficial
